Policies

Please note, all clients must accept our service policies to make an appointment. If you have any questions regarding terms and conditions, please get in touch.

Terms and conditions

  • The prices provided are based on the assumption that your dog's fur is properly maintained and free of mats

  • To attain the desired style of fluffy and breed standard appearance, it is advisable to schedule a complete grooming session every 4 to 8 weeks

  • Kindly inform me during the booking process if you perceive the coat to be matted, so that I may allocate additional time for the appointment

  • An additional fee shall be applied for the handling of matted coats and dogs that are overdue on their grooming schedule

  • An extremely matted coat may require clipping short, as de-matting can be painful for your dog

  • On occasion, when dogs with matted fur are clipped to a shorter length, it may reveal pre-existing skin conditions. In the event that veterinary intervention is necessary as a result of the matting removal, the financial responsibility will fall upon the owner

  • If it is necessary to clip short your dogs' coat, this option will be discussed with you prior to any action being carried out. If you refuse to go ahead with the groom, you will forfeit your booking fee. If you suspect this may be a possibility, please contact me in advance of your appointment and I can assess the coat

  • When making a reservation, kindly reveal any grooming-related behavioural concerns

  • Senior pets Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. Please make sure you have informed me of any health conditions so I am fully aware of any known medical issues before starting the service. You understand that in the best interests of your pet, I may cease grooming and request immediate veterinary treatments. You are aware that this will be at your expense if emergency services are required

  • Whilst every effort is made to exercise the utmost care during the grooming process, it must be noted that dogs are prone to sudden movements and, as such, I cannot be held accountable for any unforeseen accidents that may arise

  • Fleas, Parasites, and Vaccinations - It is imperative that you ensure your canine companion is current with their veterinary treatments. In the event that your dog is discovered to have fleas during their grooming session, an extra fee of £10 per flea bath will be levied. Should there be an infestation of either fleas or ticks, it is necessary to return without delay and promptly seek veterinary attention

  • I do not groom pregnant dogs or dogs in season

  • To confirm an appointment, a booking fee is mandatory. I operate on a "first come first served basis", therefore the slot is available to other clients until the transfer is received. The fee will be subtracted from the final groom price on the day

  • In order to receive a full booking fee refund or to carry it over to the next booking, it is necessary to provide a notice of 48 hours for rescheduling or cancellation

  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation that occurs beyond the 48-hour notice period, the booking fee will be forfeited. Should I be unable to fill the appointment slot on short notice, 50% of the total grooming cost will be charged to your account

  • I accept card payments, bank transfer and cash. Balance of groom is mandatory upon collection

  • I allocate a sufficient amount of time for each appointment. It is imperative that you arrive punctually, as tardiness may lead to a curtailed grooming session. Any delay exceeding 15 minutes will be deemed a failure to attend. Late pick-ups will have an impact on the subsequent client's scheduled time slot

  • Upon arrival, I offer a pre-groom consultation to all owners to discuss their preferences regarding the desired style and length of their pet's coat. Should you have a specific style in mind, please feel free to bring photographs as a point of reference. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the grooming service, kindly contact me within 24 hours for adjustments

  • The Animal Welfare Act 2006 - Is the principle law relating to animal welfare. Owners and keepers have a duty of care to their animals and must make sure they meet their needs: For a suitable environment and a place to live, for a suitable diet, to exhibit normal behaviour patterns, to be housed with or apart from other animals (if applicable), to be protected from pain, injury, suffering and disease

  • By confirming your appointment, you hereby acknowledge and agree to abide by my terms and conditions. Furthermore, you grant me permission to capture a photograph of your canine companion, which may be utilised on my social media platforms and website. In the event that you do not wish for your dog's image to be utilised or have any other concerns, kindly contact me in advance of your scheduled appointment

  • I want to assure you that I take the protection of your personal data seriously and am committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I collect and process your data solely for the purpose of providing my dog grooming services and will never share it with third parties without your prior consent.
